well we have had our floaties on up here, very rainy but both tanks are full so we are very happy.
It has put us back a bit in our plans for the big driveway down to the shed, the fence and the veggie garden being done but hey, we have water!
Lily has been haing a lovely muddy time and thank goodness sard wonder soap exists.
I am starting to feel pregnant now (25 weeks) and have a gut to rest my cup of tea on. I have been running around like a twit organising quotes and choosing stuff for the last two weeks and this week feel the need to start slowing down a little.
the baby is kicking a lot and loves Lily. Whenever Lily and I cuddle or she lays on my belly the baby wriggles and kicks, Bern thinks they may be fighting already, but I think it is just excited and knows who Lily is. Fingers crossed!
Not much else going on just trying to get stuff done before August. June is full as we have Sonje's 50th party here and then Soph arrives with Charlotte so that will be a fun party-filled month. We are looking forward to it all.
Oh another thing we have been doing is going tv free. Lily hasn't watched tv since we have been home from WA, so over 4 weeks now. It has freed us up enormously and has been something i have wanted to do for ages, it fits with the steiner philosophy that we try and focus on. Hand in hand with a wooden, handmade, organic, less plastic, no licensed merchandising lifestyle.
We have a lot more time and she plays more independently without whinging for the telly. Very cool. Previously she only watched dvds as i don't want her exposed to advertising on tv yet, but now this is even better.
Here are some photos of our gorgeous poppet.
