Picking herbs and smelling them
hi to everyone. we are having fun here, choosing all the colours tiles carpet doors cornice handles kitchen etc for the house. lily has been wonderful and having a fat old time helping with all the colour samples.
we played with connor (her little friend who was born one day before lily; i went to prenatal yoga with bec, his mum) on monday, tuesday we chose colours with the designer, wednesday we made daddy a cake, thursaday we went to playgroup and friday we are going to cruise a bit, maybe go to the park.
she loved playgroup this week, we haven't been for 5 weeks or so as we went away and then it was school holidays. lily did her first ever painting yesterday which was fun and she painted with a brush, stamped with a cork dipped in paint and had fun experimenting with her fingers (on both hers and connor's paintings)
washing the car; daddy's little helper
the playgroup is small, only 6 children who are all around the same age except one seven month old and the mothers are all lovely. it is great as we didn't have a mother's group so now we all chat away for hours and the kids play and have a ball.
poor bern has been ridiculously busy and yesterday it was 'happy birthday gotta run' so we will go to the park on the weekend and have a picnic or something nice.
today the tank gets delivered for the shed, finally. very cool.
lily's favourite things at the moment are still reading, playing the piano, trying to walk, dolly (which we have to take everywhere) ...infact yesterday at playgroup she rounded up every dolly in the place and put them allinto the wooden doll's bed and the climbed in herself and was quite happily chatting away to them all and checking that they all had bellies, feet, hands, eyes, nose and ears like she does. hilarious.
lily's funny frown face
lily has been really weird in her sleeping, last night she FINALLY got to sleep at 8pm as i am trying to let her self settle in her bed now she is a big girl. for her night sleep anyway. the day one i still cuddle her it's quicker and easier.
but now she is still asleep at 7.30am! and this is a child who always has woken at 5.15am or so...
but wait she is stirring!
must have heard me.
well better run and download these photos before missy moo needs me,
love us xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
