Hi to all
LILY AT THE PARK
been a bit of a shocker week this last week. Lily has been getting teeth, has had a viral infection, picked up some sort of sandfly bug/flea/nit thing in her hair from her first time at playgroup (hence washing all things, bombing the house etc) and then we have been looking for an industrial premises and negotiating on all that.
But, we are getting there. we have signed a lease, have a healthy but still teething child, and will be moving in to the new shed this week.
Take a breath...
But otherwise Lily and us are well. We also went to the paediatrician this week as I have been worried about her chest as it is still very depressed. we had xrays done and the Dr recommended a paed visit.
To our shock it was nothing to do with the birth but another seperate thing entirely she was born with.
Basically her sternum is depressed and her heart is slightly to the left but her lungs and heart will be ok and she wont have to have an operation to fix it until she is older as the skeleton will grow ok regardless.
When she is 15 or so she/we can choose to operate but will reassess then.
Take another breath (of relief)
Our house is also coming along, on paper that is.
Our changes have all been confirmed and the draftsperson is doing up the new plan to put to council. We go in tomorrow for a final meeting to review all is ok.
So all goes on in the McLean household.
We are going away for easter as well, off to Townsville and Mission Beach for 10 days which will be fun to catch up with everyone up there. Fingers crossed for nice weather!
Will add some photos of our little monkey. She is trying very hard to walk and walks up and down the hallway holding hands with us, she holds on and stands up on everything and is chattering away in her jibber jabber with an occasional 'english' word thrown in.
She is keeping us on our toes and in to everything. Lots of fun. Books are still her favourite, along with her toy aeroplane and her feet. Pulling her socks off is a great game.
We have been dancing alot this week to the stereo blasting and Lily squeals and bops around for more. Very cute. She stands up and jiggles herself and bops along in her car seat to whatever CD I have on. Lately she has started singing in the car as well, which is hilarious.
Anyway, must go and put the power on for the shed.
Have fun and eat chocolate!
